Only the mutual understanding, based on the reason, in faith, in science and at the spirit of solidarity can conduct the society to a life constructed on peace, conciliation and legal ideas. Solutions based on exclusion, racism and on prejudice will take the men to new wars.

There are no other reasons explain why mankind have few periods of peace in its history.

The change, we believe, begin in the heart of each human being.

When each man change, the world will change.

Utopia? Yes, probably. But we won’t abandon our values: faith in human being, in his evolution by reason way; hope in the United Nations and in its missions; predominance of Justice and in international law; prevalence of international peaceful solutions.

Somente o entendimento mútuo, baseado na razão, na fé, nas ciências e no espírito de solidariedade pode levar a sociedade a uma vida baseada nos postulados da paz, do Direito e da conciliação. Soluções baseadas na exclusão, na opressão, no racismo e na discriminação apenas conduzirão o Homem, à guerra.

Não é sem razão que a humanidade possui poucos períodos sem guerras. A mudança, cremos, inicia-se no plano interior de cada um de nós. Quando o Homem mudar seu coração, o mundo mudará.

Utópico? Sim. Mas, não abandonaremos nossos valores: fé no ser-humano, em sua evolução por meio da razão e da educação; esperança nas Nações Unidas e em suas missões; prevalência do Direito na solução pacífica de conflitos e respeito à pluralidade.

Como ensinou Hannah Arendt: "A pluralidade é a condição da ação humana pelo fato de sermos todos os mesmos, isto é, humanos, sem que ninguém seja exatamente igual a qualquer pessoa que tenha existido, exista ou venha a existir" ("A Condição Humana").
